Integrated Physiology Privacy Policy

Updated 16 September 2026 · Original policy effective 12 September 2026

This policy explains how Craytonium, the developer and publisher of Integrated Physiology, handles information associated with the app, exports, support, and beta testing.

This policy applies to Integrated Physiology for iPhone and iPad, including versions distributed through the App Store and TestFlight.

1. App data and its use

Integrated Physiology stores saved simulations, model inputs, project names, and preferences locally so you can reopen your work and retain your settings. The app does not require registration and does not automatically transmit personal or health information to Craytonium.

The app does not contain advertising or third-party behavioural analytics. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Integrated Physiology is an educational simulation app. It does not require identifiable patient information. Please do not enter patient names, medical records, or other sensitive personal information in saved projects, exports, or feedback.

2. Photos, files, and sharing

Exports are initiated by you. Reports, screenshots, and other exported material can include the model inputs, project names, and results you choose to save or share. Review them before sending them to anyone.

On iPhone and iPad, the app requests add-only Photos access when you choose to save a screenshot to Photos. It does not need to read your existing photo library. You can refuse or change this permission in your device settings.

Files shared through your device’s system share interface go to the destination you select. That destination may be another person, app, or cloud service and handles the file under its own privacy terms. Craytonium does not receive a copy unless you choose to send it to us.

3. External references

The app links to scientific references and other resources hosted by third parties. A confirmation is shown before opening external reference content. If you continue, the destination website and browser may process information such as your IP address and browser details under their own privacy policies. Review those policies before providing information.

4. Retention, deletion, and backups

Saved projects and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app and its local data. Where a Saved Projects delete control is available, use it to remove an individual project. On iOS or iPadOS, deleting the app removes its app data; offloading an app may retain it.

Exported files, images saved to Photos, and copies sent to other apps or people are separate from the app’s local storage. Delete those copies in their respective locations. Deleting a project or uninstalling the app does not recall shared files.

Your operating system or backup service may include app data in device backups, depending on your settings. Manage or delete those backups through that provider. Craytonium does not operate a cloud backup service for your simulations and cannot remotely delete copies on your device or in your backups.

There is no Integrated Physiology account to delete. For support correspondence or beta information held by Craytonium, contact us using the details below. We retain those records only as needed to respond to your enquiry, investigate the reported issue, and meet applicable legal obligations; we then delete or anonymise them. Platform providers control retention of copies in their own systems.

5. Information you send to us

If you contact Craytonium, we receive your email address and any name, message, attachments, or diagnostic information you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your enquiry, support the app, or resolve the problem you report.

Support messages are processed through the email services used to deliver and manage that correspondence. We do not use support information for advertising. Please send only information necessary to explain your enquiry.

6. TestFlight beta testing

If you test the app through Apple TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash and usage information and shares it with Craytonium. This can include device and operating-system details, app versions, installations, sessions, and crashes. Feedback you submit may include your comments and screenshots.

Email invitations can identify you by name and email address. Joining through a public link alone does not show those details to us, although information you include in feedback may identify you. We use beta information to manage testing and improve the app; we do not share TestFlight information with third parties.

Apple controls TestFlight’s collection and retention. Read Apple’s TestFlight privacy notice. Contact us to request access to or deletion of beta information we hold. You can stop testing through TestFlight; stopping does not itself delete previously collected records.

7. App stores and platform services

Apple separately processes information when you use its accounts, App Store, payment systems, device backups, or diagnostic services. Its handling is governed by its policies and your platform settings. This policy does not replace Apple’s privacy policy.

Any information you send directly to Craytonium remains subject to this policy. TestFlight information is described in section 6.

8. Security and your choices

Local data is held within the app’s device storage and is subject to the protections of your operating system. Use a device passcode and keep your device software up to date. You control export destinations, file sharing, and optional permissions.

We limit our use of support and beta information to the purposes described here. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, or obtain a portable copy of personal information we hold. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise a right; we may need to verify your identity. We cannot access local simulations that you have not sent to us.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its revision date when our practices change. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it before applying that change where required.

10. Contact Craytonium
